Preventive Dentistry
Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” We find this saying is entirely appropriate regarding the health of your teeth. With preventive care, we aim to diagnose and treat oral problems before they become serious, or even arise in the first place. Most conditions negatively affecting your oral health, including cavities, gum disease and toothaches can be prevented with routine dental care. At the end of the day, the sooner we’re able to spot an issue, the better it is in terms of future cost and care.
Routine Cleanings & Exams
Regular dental cleanings involve gently brushing and scraping away plaque and tartar that has built-up around the gum line and other hard to reach areas, which reduces your risk for developing tooth decay and gum disease. Dental exams allow our team to examine your teeth and gums and diagnose any potential issues that may be present.
Fluoride Treatments
Our fluoride treatments have a concentrated amount of the naturally occurring mineral, which works to effectively strengthen enamel and protect against cavities. In fact, studies have shown that fluoride use can decrease tooth decay by up to 70%!
Sealants
We apply dental sealants to prevent food particles and bacteria from being stuck in the deep groves and chewing surfaces of back molars so cavities don’t develop.
Arestin
Arestin is a type of antibacterial medicine we use to stop bacteria build-up and hinder gum disease before it causes further irritation or tooth loss.
Halitosis Treatment
We will complete an exam as well as review your medical and dietary history to recommend the best solution for beating bad breath.
Headache Prevention (NTI Treatment)
Our NTI therapy eases the tension in your muscles and alleviates the grinding and clenching that causes painful headaches.
Athletic Mouthguards
Wearing a professionally designed, custom-fitted mouthguard will protect your teeth and gums from any potential injuries and prevent a lifetime of tooth problems caused by sports trauma. We can even add fun customizations to your mouthguard like colors, numbers, and logos!
Nightguards
When you grind and clench your teeth at night, it can cause permanent damage like fractured teeth, tooth sensitivity, and even a shortening of the front teeth. When worn regularly, a properly designed, custom-fitted night guard can stop all of this from happening and will prevent both the immediate and long-term problems caused by grinding or clenching.
Oral Cancer Screenings
We detect any signs of oral cancer as early as possible, so that your chances of beating it increase significantly.
Snore Treatment Appliances
We can provide you with a comfortable device called Silent Nite®, which readjusts your lower jaw to increase your airway and prevent snoring.
TMJ/TMD Therapy
TMD stands for temporomandibular disorder and is characterized by issues with your TMJ, or temporomandibular joint, which opens and closes your mouth. It can result in sharp pain, limited movement, and general soreness. If you are experiencing this, we can complete a thorough examination that takes around 30 minutes to come up with options to eliminate your TMJ pain or dysfunction.
Restorative Dentistry
While we try to keep your teeth as healthy as possible so you don’t have to deal with any major or invasive procedures in the future, there are times when restorative dentistry is necessary. If that is the case, we can offer treatments to restore your teeth with a caring, sensitive touch, leaving you feeling confident in your smile again.
Fillings
With composite fillings, we are able to repair damaged teeth with natural-looking material and help prevent further decay.
Crowns
We use crowns to cover, strengthen, and improve the appearance of damaged or weakened teeth for years to come.
Bridges
If you have missing teeth, we can restore your smile to a natural look and feel by “bridging” the gap with dental bridges.
Dentures
Whether you’re making the transition from natural teeth to dentures or you need help fitting an existing set, we are here to care for your specific needs and walk you through the entire process. We are also proud to offer a range of denture stabilization options using the 3M ESPE mini dental implants to allow for a cost-effective way to achieve better fit and retention.
Endodontics/Root Canal Therapy
Easily one of the most feared dental procedures for patients, a root canal is sometimes necessary to help resolve a toothache and allow a patient to save their tooth. We are fully committed to ensuring your root canal goes smoothly and painlessly with strong anesthetics and advanced techniques.
Extractions
Sometimes, we have no other option but to remove, or extract, a tooth. Through our fun, professional chairside manner, advanced instruments and techniques, and sedation options, we can make the often-dreaded tooth extraction a relaxing and pleasant appointment.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
If your wisdom teeth erupt without enough available space, they can became impacted or infected or cause other teeth to become crowded. We can determine if you need to have a wisdom tooth extraction, and if so, we have sedation options to keep the procedure pain-free and comfortable.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are a popular tooth replacement method among patients and doctors alike. Implants are small titanium posts that mimic a tooth’s root and create a stable foundation for your replacement teeth to attach onto.

We also provide cosmetic dental treatments to help you achieve your personal goals for the perfect smile. We also provide veneers, so you can make those finishing touches on your smile.
Zoom!® One-Visit Whitening
If you’re the type of patient who wants instant results, then ZOOM!® is the whitening option for you. In a one-hour session, we can lighten your teeth up to 8 shades! Following your in-office whitening session, we also include one year of take-home maintenance materials to ensure you can keep that smile bright.
Custom-Tray Whitening
There are many over-the-counter whitening products and at-home remedies, but the safest and most effective product to whiten your teeth at home is a professional whitening kit from a dentist. We make custom bleaching trays and offer a variety of whitening solutions to best meet your dental needs.
Veneers
If you want to change the appearance of your teeth, whether it be the color, shape, or spacing, we can apply veneers, or custom-made, extremely thin shells, to the front of your teeth to achieve your desired look. At the end of the treatment, you’ll see that veneers maintain a natural appearance and feel, leaving you with a smile that’s good as new.
Periodontal Care
One of the most common causes of tooth loss is periodontal disease. While periodontal disease can have many different causes, the most common is poor oral hygiene and lack of regular dental cleanings. When combined with other contributing factors, such as smoking or a poor immune system, periodontal disease can advance to the point where teeth become loose, infected, and maybe even require extraction.
The great news about periodontal disease is that it’s entirely preventable, and even if it has already developed, it is easily treatable. We provide advanced cleanings, more formally known as scaling and root planing, for those with active periodontal disease. This procedure, combined with follow-up care and good oral hygiene at home, can prevent this serious condition from negatively affecting your oral health.
