Traditional Invisalign
The traditional method of Invisalign treats a wide range of orthodontic cases, including overcrowding, gaps, and bite issues. During your first visit, we will digitize your smile and take any necessary impressions. Your impressions will then be sent to a lab where your custom aligners will be designed. Once we receive your sets of aligners, you will come in for a fitting and be given designated wear times. Each aligner will be worn for approximately 22 hours per day and switched out every 1 to 2 weeks. You will visit our office about once every 6 weeks to check on your progress.
Invisalign Express
Invisalign Express works similarly to Invisalign, but with a shorter timeline. The main difference between the two is their treatable cases. Those who need more extensive treatment should opt for the traditional route. Express works well for those who have minor alignment issues or who have previously completed orthodontic treatment but need a small touch-up.
Cost of Invisalign
The Invisalign cost ranges from patient to patient and you will be provided with a detailed breakdown during your initial consultation. We accept a variety of insurance providers and we offer our in-house dental membership plan to those who are uninsured. With customizations for adults, children, and periodontal patients, our plans are equipped to help you save more and spend less. If you need assistance with out-of-pocket costs, we also accept CareCredit® patient financing.
Invisalign FAQs
How long does Invisalign take?
Your treatment time depends largely upon your method of treatment and how severe your alignment issues are. We offer comprehensive metal braces, Invisalign, and Invisalign Express.
How should I clean Invisalign?
Upon removal, your aligners should be rinsed thoroughly to rid them of saliva. Additionally, you may brush them with antibacterial soap or soak them in a denture cleanser. Do not use toothpaste on your aligner as the abrasiveness will scratch them and create a foggy look.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Each insurance provider covers Invisalign differently. We would be happy to check your coverage before your scheduled appointment to give you a better estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. Our goal is to maximize your benefits while straightening your smile.
